Carline Center

1018 W Roosevelt St, Phoenix, AZ 85007

  • Carline Center is an adaptive reuse office property in the historic F.Q. Story Neighborhood. Originally constructed as two separate homes in the 1920s, the buildings underwent an unusual merging in the 1960s. Our work began with the untangling of years of retrofits to design and build three new flexible office suites.

  • The name "Carline Center" pays homage to the streetcar lines that once crisscrossed downtown Phoenix and its neighboring districts spurring the early growth of the city. Inspired by Phoenix’s bygone urban connectivity, we saw the potential to bring this well located property back online with an adaptive reuse development. The design of the building offers a desert modern version of the old mercantile buildings lining the Grand Avenue corridor nearby while the interior historic character has been left intact. The distinct advantages of being adjacent to downtown gives tenants access to Grand Avenue and major highways, and offers unique benefits such as privacy and ample parking.

Unlocking the potential of this formerly vacant and unusable property demonstrates our commitment to revitalize urban spaces and transform them into thriving places of business and connection.

How did we engage the Community?

To debut Carline Center, we planned a series of events in partnership with local businesses to highlight the rich network future tenants could anticipate joining.  Esteemed speakers and the AZ Tech Council marked the occasion, acknowledging our modernized space with advanced fiber technology and top-tier security. This gathering celebrated both history and innovation, strengthening our community bonds.
