First Things First: Arizona America250 Commission

First things first

First things first, we need a logo! The Arizona America250 Commission is hosting a statewide logo design competition to create a unique emblem representing Arizona’s role in the upcoming 250th anniversary of our nation's founding. The winning design will be everywhere as the official logo for all things Arizona America250—from event promotions to merchandise- so it’s a big deal!

Who has entered?

Artists, designers, and creative minds of all ages submitted their original artwork logo designs. Ten finalists have been chosen and their designs are going head-to-head in a public online vote.

Here’s where you come in

The Commission’s social media pages have been promoting the competition, and we want you in on the action! It’s your turn to vote online for who will be the winner of the ten finalists selected. Voting is open through December 12, 2024. Don’t forget to follow, like, and share to spread the word.

More exciting news

The Commission has been hard at work behind the scenes. I’m honored to chair the History, Heritage & Historic Preservation subcommittee, where we’re uniting organizations and individuals from across the state to educate about and celebrate our rich history, promote preservation of Arizona's unique heritage, and engage organizations business leaders in these efforts. Together, we aim to create a foundation for sustainable heritage preservation.

If you are interested in and are aligned with this subcommittee, please contact me. I would love to tell you more!
